Something beautiful...

For some totally gorgeous girly stuff follow this link:
Lucy and see the beautiful jewellery of the talented Lucy Wallis.

I always get compliments when I wear her jewellery.

Her new range is called 'Brighton Rock' and really is a sweet treat for the eyes.

In addition to her website, Lucy has an etsy shop: http://www.lucywallis.etsy.com/

Hope my lovely hubby asks me what I want for my birthday!!!!

Papertrey Candy!

If you live in Europe and love Papertrey go to this link for a fab giveaway:

I adore Papertrey, (so feminine and classy) but I cannot afford to pay the shipping costs to buy from America.
Keeping my fingers crossed for this one!

Colour Inspiration #53

I had to sit Kristina's last challenge out as I was so busy with work and the day-to-day stuff.
It's Bank Holiday this weekend so I've been able to play along and as I don't do 'primary' colours very often it really was a challenge...
A big thank you to Kristina for making us 'go for it' with all these great colour combos.

I just fell in love with this little elephant stamp when I saw it. I know it is one of those stamps that will get used over and over.

I've made this card for my best friend Jacquie. She is very busy training to be a teacher, plus being married, running a home, coping with two fabulous (but 'spirited') kids and running a scout group. I don't do anywhere near as much as she does, but never seem to get enough time to pick up the 'phone or drop by as much as I'd like to.

Hope she gets the joke on the word 'herd', being a trainee teacher she might give me lines instead!

Card Recipe: Bazzill Cardstock, Versa Colour - Black, Judikins Embossing Powder, Prima Marketing Elephant Clear Stamp, Double Scroll Clear Stamp by Rhonna Farrer, Hero Arts Raindrops, Circle and Edge punches, lots of white gel pen.

I also got to meet my beautiful new niece for the first time on Saturday. She is soooo gorgeous.

Not sure about this one...

I made this little card over the weekend. I find it hard to make cards when it is pouring with rain outside, and it did nothing but rain on Saturday and Sunday.
The paper is by Bo Bunny. I knew it would look great with Bazzill Kraft. It is a double-sided paper so I knew I had something that coordinated well. The little blue button was one that I found in a local haberdashery store. I can't stop using Ali Edwards Everyday words set at the moment, and I am equally addicted to the Hero Arts Raindrop background stamp.

Happy birthday Cleo!

My old cat is now 18, it only seems like yesterday that she was a little kitten. I bought her a new bed as a present... I think she likes it!

Beautiful baby!

Well there just had to be a picture of my new niece didn't there?

She's teeny tiny, and oh so cute.
