Vodka, darling!

Another day and another card... I'm loving this holiday!

Today I'm playing along with the guys over at Shopping our Stash.

I really like the premise of this challenge as I'm trying to cut back on my stamp buying ( Hi, I'm Jo and I'm a stampaholic...) and love the idea of re-visiting the stash I have.

For this challenge we're encouraged to Get Your Drink On, so I hunted out a cute Newton's Nook set (Cocktail Mixer) and teamed it with a MFT Sassy Pants birthday sentiment.

There are some lovely, inspirational DT cards and the gallery is filling up with drink related cards of all kinds, so why not head over and take a look!

Let's Seize the Birthday!

Hi guys, one of the joys of a week off work is the ability to get in a little extra crafting time and to play along with some of my favorite challenges.

I'm seizing the toppings for Challenge #166 at Seize the Birthday which is Presents. Always love the opportunity to play along here.

I've CASEd my own card for this one, but swapped things around so that it's a masculine birthday card. I really do enjoy playing with these Katzelkraft meerkats. The sentiment and the gift are from MFT sets.

I'm also linking up to a new-to-me challenge Sweet Stampin' Challenge, which is all about Birthday Boys.

Happy crafting, everyone!

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #11 - Christmas Kids!

For this challenge I'm delighted to be joined by my lovely, long-term blogging buddy, Lindsey.

Our theme for this fortnight is:
Challenge #11 - Christmas Kids

We'd love to see cards featuring children, or that you would make for a child.

My first card features those gorgeous MFT Bitty Bears from this card.

Instead of little brown bears, this time I decided to go with little polar bears and a very limited colour palette. The sentiment is from the same set.

My next card is one that I made a little while ago.

I've used this sentiment before, but it seems to go so well with this little cutie from Rubbermoon.

My final card looks so much better IRL. The bokeh background was created with stencils after stamping and masking the little girl from Eat Cake Graphics. The sentiment is from an Ink Road set.

I really hope you'll drop over to The Christmas Kickstart to see Lindsey's gorgeous cards, and to play along!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #135 - I is for Ironmongery

Sistah Lee has done it again and we have yet another fabulous Edna graphic to launch our new challenge which is about all things Steampunk.

While I really love all things Steampunky, I struggle to create suitable cards. Hopefully this one fits the bill with a VLVS crow in a cute hat and a background of Tim Holtz cogs.

Please head on over to The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog to see the fabulousness created by the sistahs.

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #10 - S is for Snarky Christmas.

It's time for another challenge over at The Christmas Kickstart and for Challenge #10 it's a fun one as I'm joined by The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for S is for Snarky Christmas!

As always, Edna is on board and this week she's wearing the elf hat!

For anyone who isn't totally sure about the concept of 'SNARK' it's a mix of sarcasm, sass, irreverence and humour.

Here are my cards for this challenge:

I had a great time playing with the meerkats from this fun set by Katzelkraft and pairing them with these snarky sentiments from MFT.

I really hope you'll come and play along with this challenge and that you'll enjoy seeing what the sistahs have created!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #134 - W is for WTF?

Poor Edna, we've all had those days when our mind is totally blown by something crazy!
For this challenge the sisterhood are celebrating those WTF? moments.

So, here's my card; I went with a little off-beat humour after finding this brilliant meme...

and adding my own 'punchline' inside. This is the 'WTF?' moment - well, it is in my head anyway!

The girl image comes from a gorgeous Picket Fence set (I soooo wish a UK supplier would stock these fabulous stamps) and this adorable llama is from Vera Lane.

The sistahs have had a brilliant time with this theme, so please take a look at their inspiration and come play along!
