The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #85 - B is for Beach!

Edna's enjoying a little downtime at the beach for this challenge! Great costume... kinda wish they still sold those little beauties as my lumps and bumps need serious camouflage these days. I wouldn't mind venturing out of the shadows if I could wear one of these.

My card is short on snark this week, but is BIG on silly for Challenge #85!

I couldn't resist a little altering to get this cute Lawn Fawn alpaca beach ready; then got busy with liquid applique for added fun! The sweet paper is from a Carta Bella pack called Summer Lovin', and the 'Bon Voyage' is from a Lawn Fawn set of the same name.

You are going to love, love, love the DT inspiration for this challenge; the Sistahs are oh, soooooooo snarky!

Naughty or Nice Challenge #39 - Reminder

I'm just dropping by to share my mid-month reminder card for Naughty or Nice Challenge #39.

This little kitty from MFT seems to be my 'go to' image, but in my defense isn't he/she a cutie! I think it's that look of innocence that I love so much.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - Challenge #84 Hatching, Matching and Despatching

Welcome to Challenge #84, and the Sistahs are in fine form for this new challenge: Hatching, Matching, and Dispatching! The Three biggies in this weird game we call life.

I went with 'Matching' for my card, and broke-out a long-term favourite Stamping Bella image.

I created the 'sentiment' on my PC after adapting a quote I found with a little help from Google.

I didn't mean to fussy cut the couple, but I had a little accident when I was die-cutting. Having spent ages colouring with Promarkers and Prisma coulour pencils, I wasn't about to start again from scratch!

My nice niece!

My little beauty of a niece will be eight years old in a couple of weeks time. How did that happen? I have no absolutely no idea where the time has gone!

I hope she'll like her birthday card, which I made using a gorgeous digital image from LOTV, called Jasmine's phone. Now that she is a little bit older I'm always on the look out for age-appropriate images, and this one fitted the bill perfectly. Being a digi, I could size the image as required and also 'flip' the image to suit. I coloured with Promarkers and pencils, and added stamped flowers around the edge to frame the image.

I'm delighted to link up to the current LOTV challenge, which is birthdays, and to wish the LOTV crew a very happy birthday as they celebrate 13 years of gorgeousness!

It's such a sunny day that I think I may go and sit in the garden for a while. Gotta love the odd day off work, especially when the weather is so lovely !

April Card Chain Challenge Reveal

As it's the second day of the month, that can only mean one thing: Card Chain Challenge Reveal time!

Deborah picked-out some gorgeous colours for us:

Turns out I don't have any navy ink (surprising, I know) neither do I have any sky blue card (even more surprising considering how much card I possess!) but I muddled through and made this card to send to the lovely Jerrie in Wisconsin, USA.

I used one of my most favourite flower images on this card ( from Wplus9) and then echoed Deborah's sketch by die-cutting the sentiment across the image.

This was sooooooooo difficult to photograph, but luckily the 'hugs' sentiment is much more obvious IRL as it is covered in oodles of Wink of Stella!

My sender for this month is the lovely Dawn; a long-term blogging buddy and one of the CCC most devoted players!

So, we meet again, Cardmakers! 

Turns out that it's National Smile month here in the UK, so The Troublemakers decided to adopt SMILES as the theme for our May Challenge!

I'm not sure my card would really raise a smile... Possibly more of a grimace?
