LOTV Loveliness

 Hi guys, it's so hot here in the UK that I decided to hide indoors and spend the day in my craft room. I've had quite a few commissions to work on recently, and forgot to take pictures of most of them! However, here's one I made earlier, and remembered to photograph.

My friend's friend is now a Great Grandma, and so she asked me to make her a card.

I haven't inked-up this cute LOTV image in years, and I really enjoyed using this sweet stamp once again. You can still purchase LOTV stamps and images here.

Christmas Kickstart Reminder for Challenge #87

 

We're in very talented cardmaking company again this month at Christmas Kickstart as we have Denise from The Crafty Den as our Elf.

Our theme until June 30th is...

It's a Gift!

So we'd like to see gifts or presents on your cards, please. There are some gorgeous cards in the gallery - you guys are really rocking this challenge.

There were so many different ways to go for an 'Inspired by card', but I grabbed Denise's 'sketch' design, and rather like the end result. Thanks for letting me CASE your card, Denise. 

The cute kitty is from Your Next Stamp. The YNS store remains open until the end of June, and there are a few amazing bargains to be had before it closes for good. The gift background is an oldie from Hero Arts and the sentiment is an oldie from Simon Says Stamp. Neither of these stamps appear to be currently available.

I broke out some Purple Onion Design stamps for my card, which was a total nightmare to photograph and looks so much better IRL.

The Card Chain Challenge Reveal - May 2024

 

We had 30 participants who exchanged cards across the globe this month.

 

Total number of cards exchanged thus far by Card Chain Challenge participants is 4,390.

 

All the cards exchanged this month used at least one of the following options:

Product / Technique Options: Stencil / Scoring

 

I decided to grab the colours, and the 'Men in Hats' theme, and created this little piece of fun to send to the lovely Pia in Norway:

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #251 - D is for Die Cuts

 

Doesn't Edna look happy in her Summer garden! 

I am amazed that it's suddenly June, as I currently have very little sense of time or place after spending a few days in bed with a stomach virus. I'm up and dressed today, so things are finally improving!

The Sisters have a very special guest for this fun challenge as the lovely Gail aka CraftyNomad is our reigning royal of the month. You will LOVE her card, and also the cards created by my noble sisters!

For some reason I decided to make a tag for this challenge, and here it is in all it's girly pinkness. 

I inked-up some linen card to add some texture and interest, and then got die cutting using this incredibly versatile little set by Lisa Jones for Thinlits/Sizzix. The sentiment is from a set by Simon Says Stamp, but no longer has it's packaging and I can't see it on the website.
