When I sat down to make this card I discovered I was in the mood for a little black and white, and this is the result!

Challenge #77 - Just Elfing Around!

This month we're playing with returning elf Di, and having heaps of fun with our theme. Di has very kindly created additional cards for our challenge and I know you'll love what she's made.

I love Di's first card for our challenge and couldn't resist breaking out Paper Smooches Wise Dies - Stockings for some Die Cut fun! I do miss Paper Smooches. The stencil is from The Stencil Studio and the greeting is from one of my favourite Christmas sentiment sets: Mama Elephant Puffy Holiday Greetings.

I'm linking this card to Di's Snippets Playground Challenge #460 as I used teeny, tiny snippets for the stockings and boots on this card.

I really like playing with this sweet VLVS elf. This time I combined him with some Lawn Fawn cookies. He looks so content!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #240 - A is for ATC

We're playing A is for ATC for the next fortnight at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

When someone says 'ATC' I usually panic nearly as much as when someone says 'Steampunk'! However, I decided that I'd conquer my fear and make something floral or with a cat on it... This is what I made:

Not a cat or a flower in sight, but I had fun pairing this VLVS gal with a little life affirming statement from AI's Housework Set. The background was a gel print I made ages ago using a mask. 

We have some great ATC's on show over at the sisterhood from the team and our Queen - you'll love their makes so much!

Card Chain Challenge Reveal - July 2023

It's the second of the month and so it must be time for the latest Reveal over at Card Chain Challenge!

We had 32 participants who exchanged cards across the globe this month and out total number of cards exchanged thus far by Card Chain Challenge participants is 4,073! I know!

Here's what I sent to the lovely Jeanne in Minnesota.

I had so much fun creating this card for Jeanne, but have now misplaced the stamp set and packaging so am unable to share the product details! It's a real oldie so I doubt it's available anywhere. Such a cute set. Edited to add: Found the stamp set Scrapberry's Basik & K For you.

My sender this month is Lucille in New Jersey, but her card is still crossing The Atlantic. Hopefully it'll be here soon and I can update this post.

Challenge #77 - Just Elfing Around!

We'd love to see an elf or elves on your cards this month - it's as simple as that!

Here's my first card:

I had such a blast colouring these two - don't they look mischievous? Obviously fresh from their 'Elf on the Shelf' activities! I'm surprised to discover this fun set is still for sale over at MFT. 

I'm linking these guys to the new challenge at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge where their optional extra is ELF!

My second card features another cute and mischievous little guy. I think he's from Lost Coast Design, but I can't find him in their store. The wording was produced on my PC.
