The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #253 - S is for Summer

 

It's Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, and as you can see Edna is spending an evening amongst the sunflowers. The sistahs have created some fabby cards to celebrate the season, so please drop by and join the fun!

My sheepy friend has opted for a trip to the beach...

I'm sending this card to someone who's just had surgery and I hope it gently tickles her funny bone. I can't find this set anywhere, so can only assume it's no longer available. I added the sentiment on my PC and found some sweet, summery paper to finish the card.

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #69 - Reminder

 

It's time for our reminder post over at Christmas Kickstart and the theme for this month is a nice easy one as we play...

For my final card of 2022, I dug out a favourite, fun stamp set from Hobby Art and got colouring.

I made the sentiment on my PC; surely only a cold heart could turn away these three little chaps!

Let's Squash It! Challenge #12 - Let's Sand It Inspiration

 Hi there, we're sanding stuff over at Let's Squash It! for the whole of September.

I was interested in the possibilities of sanding a cardstock that didn't have a core and so set to work on some Bazzils card. It's such a pity that you can't see/touch what a great texture this produced - it feels so soft and velvety IRL. I enhanced the effect with some gold Vera Color ink.

The stamp set is Vintage Plonk from Hobby Art and the embossing folder is Sizzix Texture Fades Tim Holtz Folder Numeric, which seems to be currently unavailable.

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #49 - Reminder

Well, I don't know about you but for me this month seems to be speeding along like a sled whizzing down a mountain.

Yes, it's reminder time again at Christmas Kickstart. This month our theme is:

I love brown and blue together and decided to take my inspiration from Jane's colour combo for my card.

My cute penguin, the sack of pressies and the sledge are all from from a Hobby Art set called, appropriately enough, Penguins. A big thank you to my blogging bud Gail for gifting me this lovely set.

I wanted to add some embellishments, but just couldn't make it work no matter what I tried. In the end I just left it alone - sometimes you just gotta do that.

Naughty or Nice Challenge 35 - Ready, Steady, Go!

Our first Naughty or Nice challenge of 2017 is about all things new: new products, new stash, new year...

I broke-out a 'new-to-me' stamp from Hobby Art called Baby Washline to celebrate the best 'new' anythings anyone could ever wish for: a new arrival!

This is beautiful Emily Grace, who put in an appearance a few days ago. My friends, Amy and Eddy, were delighted when this sweet, little bundle turned up in time for Christmas.

My teamies have done a great job with this challenge and I really hope you'll play along with the Troublemakers to get 2017 off to a brilliantly crafty and creative start!
