The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #256 - C is for Critters

Our Graphics Guru, Lee, has created a fabulous graphic for this challenge and showcases a little known mythical beast: behold, the Uni-Edna!

Yes, we're all about CRITTERS for the month of November over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. Antelopes, ardvarks, aardwolves... You get the picture, and all are welcome!

I decided to ink-up this little guy from Stampers Anonymous Snarky Cat set.

The Sisterhood have had way too much fun with this theme, and would love it if YOU came to join the party. Hope to see you there!

I Saw a Mouse...

Hey, just look at me posting for the second day in a row! I'm really enjoying my crafting at the moment and seem to be unusually productive. Long may it continue!

A while back I bagged this little Stampin' Up! mouse, and his equally cute buddies, from a Facebook sale site. Isn't he adorable?

He was great fun to colour, although I didn't mean to stamp him in brown ink. I decided to stick with the brown and I have to say that I think it works with the kraft background.

I stenciled with white Distress Ink through a TH/Stampers Anonymous Merry Christmas Layering Stencil and then added a sentiment from another bargain buy, which I think is from Hero Arts.

I'm delighted to linking-up at a few challenges, having created my card using inspiration from:

Steph and Lauren are Getting TEXT-y With It for their current challenge.

The lovely crew at Christmas Craft Creations are looking for Stencils and Embossing Folders.

Edited to Add:

Thanks so much!

It's all about Christmas at Addicted to Stamps and More.

Just Us Girls are having an Anything Goes Stencil Week.

And finally, I'm tickled pink to see that the lovely Helen from Made by Helen has reopened The Rudolph Days Challenge! Congratulations, Helen, I hope this goes well for you. It's great to have a later in the month challenge with which to play along.

Time for a cuppa now. I hope you're all having a happy day and possibly even managing to squeeeeeeze in some crafty fun!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #127 - B is for Birthday

The Sisterhood are playing B is for Birthday for the next two weeks and we'd love you to come and play along!

I'm still enjoying playing with those rather fabulous Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz cats, but this time I paired the kitty with a sentiment from an AI set called Never Too Old Laugh Lines.

The background is one of my Gell prints that I made a while back.

The sistahs have created some fabulous cards, so please come and take a look!

Gnome for Christmas.

I'm sure that with Christmas so near there are many things I should have been doing, but today my craftroom was calling and I felt the need for a play!

I didn't sleep well lastnight and the idea for this little card 'popped' into my head in the wee, small hours. Isn't it fun? I loved stamping the Line Of Trees stamps by TH for Stampers Anonymous in different shades of green chalk ink and then colouring these irresistible little characters from Jane's Doodles Merry Gnomes. I wonder what they are saying to each other?

I decided this card looked a little 'flat' so I added some snow...

I'm linking-up at Lost Coast Portal to Creativity as their current challenge is Anything Goes with Gnomes. What a fun challenge for this time of year. I'm also playing along at Daring Cardmakers as their current challenge is Trim the Tree and I've got me a whole forest on this card!

Happy crafting!

Card Chain Challenge - January 2020

Hi there, I hope you are having a happy Sunday!

It's the second day of the month, which means it's time for another fabulous Reveal over at The Card Chain Challenge.

Our theme options for January were a fun sketch...

A palette of lovely colours...

Plus themes of Anything New, bears or friendship and dies.

I was delighted to send this card to the lovely Robyn in Australia. As you can see I embraced the option of bears and the colours. I loved using a cute Jane's Doodles set in combination with those beautiful trees from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous and couldn't believe how easily the card came together.

I was thrilled to receive this beautiful card from Greta in Oregon, USA. Greta was concerned that the card was a little muted, but I LOVE it and think the colours look soft and elegant against the kraft.

If you'd like to see the whole Reveal please head here and while you are there why not check out the challenge for February too.

Lost Coast - Walk of Fame

I spotted an intriguing challenge: Walk of Fame over at Lost Coast Portal to Creativity and decided that I'd play along.

My original idea was to use an Audrey Hepburn image (may still happen!), but then I came across this stamp and went off in a completely different direction!

This is Annie Oakley from Technique Junkies and I love the quote. It's not easy to read on this picture: 'I ain't afraid to love a man. I ain't afraid to shoot him either.' This may or may not be hubby's Valentine's card. I do feel sorry for my husband as he is married to my sense of humour.

Just been reading about Annie - she was quite a gal!

My vision for this card is that she's standing on a mountain, with the tops of the trees below her. Not sure if it comes across that way, but I did enjoy using those gorgeous Stampers Anonymous Tree Line stamps again. Such a useful addition to my stamp collection as they are so versatile.

There are some fun cards in the Lost Coast gallery and some fab makes from the DT. This really is a little gem of a website to visit.
