Hoppy Easter and a Blog Candy alert!

Hello everyone, I hope that you are all having a lovely Easter Sunday.

As you can see sweet Warren from Craftworks is playing the Easter Bunny on this card that I made for my Mom and Dad. These images are so cute and they virtually colour themselves! The blue spotty paper and yellow card are both from Stampin' Up!

That sweet ribbon is from my first purchase over at The Ribbon Girl - it certainly won't be the last time I shop there! Check out The Ribbon Girl's fabulous Easter Giveaway here, you'll be glad you did!
I tried to make a cute banner like the one that Kristina Werner made on Friday. Kristina makes everything look sooooo effortless... me, I need to practice!!!

I can't believe how quickly my second Blogoversary has come around - where did the last year go to???

Anyhoo, it's time for a little candy for everyone who follows and visits my blog. Thank you so much for visiting and for leaving such kind and encouraging comments - you rock!

Here's the candy:

Isn't that big Hero Arts stamp a beauty?

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. If you want to spread the word about the candy that would be great, but it's by no means essential! I'm happy to post abroad and plan to draw a winner on Thursday evening.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and don't eat too much chocolate!

Blog candy!

Happy blogoversary to me, happy blogoversary to me, happy blogoverary dear me -ee, happy blogoversary to me!

What better way to celebrate than with a little candy for all my lovely blogging buddies out there!

Included in the candy are three new stamps that have recently caught my eye: one by Mary Hall for Funky kits and two cute manga style stamps from the gorgeous new range over at The Secret Crafter. (A big thank you to the lovely Wendy for donating Jack and Mollie). There will also be a few other fun bits and pieces in the final package.

To enter the giveaway all you have to do is post a link to the candy on your blog and leave a comment for me on this post.

I'll make the draw for the winner on Monday next week, which is a bank holiday here in the UK. Don't forget to drop back to find out the result!

I just want to say a very big and heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who follows my blog or who drops by. You are all just amazing and never fail to cheer me up and make me smile!

Happy crafting everyone!

And the winner is....

A big thank you to everyone who left a comment on my Blog Candy post, I really enjoyed reading them all.

I am so sorry that Blogger went 'strange' and didn't moderate some of the comments. Luckily I spotted the problem early, and so kept all of my emails and even checked through my spam folder so I think everyone went into the hat... or rather little pottery jug.

So let's get down to it and announce the winner:

It's PAULA from pajaluspapersfabricsaddiction.blogspot.com/

Congratulations Paula, please could you email me with your snail mail address so that I can post your Lili of the Valley winnings. I wonder how long it will take the parcel to reach Australia?

Thanks again to everyone who took part or who dropped by.
See you again soon with a card...

Roll up, roll up... there's Blog Candy on offer!

This card is a bit of a prototype. I plan to make more cards using this gorgeous little stamp from Lilli of the Valley, but today I wanted to play around and experiment a little.

The wonderful thing about these lovely LOTV stamps is that they are so beautifully drawn. This means that you can get away with very simple, almost watercolour style colouring. This is a huge bonus for someone like me who isn't really that great at wielding her Promarkers!

The large 'Celebrate' sentiment is from an Ali Edwards/Technique Tuesday set that hasn't seen the light of day for far too long. The roses in the bride's bouquet are accented with Diamond Glaze and her dress has some added sparkle from Diamond Stickles. If I make this card again in landscape format I'll make it much longer, and 'slimmer', so that the balance is better around the sentiment.
Anyhooo, about that candy....

I want to say a big thank you to all you lovely people who either follow my blog or are regular visitors.
I have chosen three lovely Lilli of the Valley stamps as candy. I'll be giving them away to one lucky person who leaves a comment on this post by close of play on Friday 19th March.
I plan to announce the winner over the weekend.

I'm entering this little card in the following challenges:

Happy crafting everyone, and don't forget to leave a comment to have a chance to win!
Edited to add:
Mr Blogger seems to be acting up and I have noticed that some comments haven't moderated properly. I have them all stored in my email folder so hopefully won't miss anyone - however, feel free to comment again as I will be doing the draw by name rather than using a Random number thingy as I am aware of this problem.
