The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #260 - G is for Green

The word on the street is 'It's not easy being Green...' but, The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and our fabulous guest, Rachel, seem to have found it very easy to create cards using Mother Nature's favourite colour.

Here's what I made for Challenge #260:

A little The Ink Road snarkiness and a sweet AALL and Create image jumped onto one of my gelli prints to create this card. The sisters would love it if you came and joined the fun!

It's International Women Day on March 8th and Lost Coast Designs are celebrating with a fabulous month long theme of Woman. I had to play along.

I'm also dropping this sweet gal into the gallery over at Sweet Stampin as their new theme is Special Women, again to celebrate on March 8th.

Happy crafting everyone - I hope Saturday is good and kind to you all.

Dani Doodles - A Little Pug Lovin'

Hi guys, here's wishing you all a very happy Thursday

I made another card using this set from The Ink Road and Dani's Dog Puns

Isn't this little cutie adorbs, and just perfect to pair with Dani's fun sentiment. The background bones stencil is from Funky Fossil and was coloured with Distress Ink

Don't forget, you can find all the info about Dani's stamps by heading here.

And I'm so happy to play along over at Addicted to CAS Challenge #277 where their code word is PET.

Happy crafting, everyone.

The Card Chain Challenge Reveal - December 2024

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Over at The Card Chain Challenge we've now exchanged 4,523 cards by participants from 41 of the 50 United States and 33 countries. It's not that we're looking for World domination or anything!

Exciting news!
This month the Card Chain Challenge was again generously sponsored by

Relatively Thoughtful

Check their website for free gifts.

Our now traditional December 'twist' is to play
GAIL's FIENDISHLY FESTIVE TIC TAC TOE

Here's my card for the challenge. I've gone across the grid on the second row down.

I used this lovely image from Concord and 9th called Merry Mantle Stamp Set. I substituted the dotty sock and popped it up to include 'spots'. The 'Sassy' sentiment is from The Ink Road, who are taking a brief pause at the moment.

My card flew across the globe to Tina in Slovenia and just look what lovely Gail in Canada sent me:

Happy New Year to you all, and why not make 2025 the year that YOU come and play along at The Card Chain Challenge???

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #212 - T is for Tags

We're all about TAGS for the next two weeks over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and our Graphics Goddess, Lee has created yet another fabulous Edna to get us in the mood.

I made this card for my friend Jill who has two gorgeous ginger kitties. The snoozing cat is from MFT and the sentiment from The Ink Road set I'm currently loving.

The sistahs have done a great job with this challenge, so please come on over and join the fun... tag, you're it!

We're all about W is for Wicked for the next two weeks over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Edna, the fabulous Queen Fran and the sistahs have all gone witchy... I went off in a completely different direction with a MFT kitty and a pithy sentiment from The Ink Road!

Whichever way you go with this theme we'd love you to come play along!

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #48 - Green Christmas

It time for a new challenge at Christmas Kickstart and I'm thrilled to be joined by The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers (and our beloved mascot, Edna) to supply the inspiration for this month!

I'm so grateful to my fabulous sistahs for getting green and festive, so please come and take a look at their beautiful cards.

Here's what I made for the challenge.

I just couldn't resist inking-up some Ink Road fun (Happy Holla Days) for this one - Santa looks good in green, right?

For my second card I used the same Pine Tree Forest MFT stencil and created an inky background and then stencilled with a mixture of acrylic paint and embossing paste.

The die cut sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and looks gorgeous IRL, but proved impossible to photograph! The green and silver just looks so good together.

For his Random Raffle prize this month Rudolph has bagged a cheeky little sentiment stamp from Crafter's Companion.

Hope you'll come on over and play along!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #161 - I is for Inks

We have a gorgeously inky Edna as our inspiration graphic for this challenge!

I do love playing with my inks and had a fabulous time with a new Visible Image stencil and this gorgeously fuchsia Distress Ink. The new toys didn't end there as I couldn't resist a little Lockdown treat of a cute set of girlies from Kraftin' Kimmie. I paired the skater girl with a nice snarky sentiment and then layered her onto an inky layer created with a beautiful Hero Arts flower and Parrot coloured ink from Altenew.

I have to say that I really enjoyed making this card! My sisters have inked-up some fabulousness and we have a new Queen - so come along and join the fun!
