After a super busy weekend it's been a treat today to do the Supermarket run and then settle down for some crafting! I coloured this sweet little image by Claire Keay a few days ago. However, my mojo needed the kick start of this lovely sketch from Stamp with fun before I could get creating.
The papers are a bit of a first for me as they are digital papers from Pink Petticoat. The pink paper looked a little washed out when I printed it, but this turned out to be perfect in combination with Spun Sugar Distress ink and the Raindrops background stamp from Hero Arts. I have to say that I am really pleased with the effect.

I may have got a bit OTT with the bling, but I wanted the end result to be a really cheery card with plenty to look at!
The inside of the card simply says 'happy... birthday' to follow on from the tag on the front.I've also spent the day enjoying the new album by Beady Eye . For anyone who doesn't know them Beady Eye are essentially the Oasis boys minus Noel, who left the group just over a year ago. I didn't really know what to expect but the album is great and I can't wait to see them in concert in April.

Hope your Monday wasn't too Monday-ish!
Happy crafting everyone.

I couldn't resist colouring those cute flowers as sun flowers... and I just had to add some little black pupils to the eyes. The paper is from Basic Grey and that super sunshine cardstock is from Stampin' Up!
