Newton on a Tuesday.

Hi everyone, hope your week is off to a good start.

Just a quick share of some cards I made over the weekend using the adorable Newton Bear.

I think this one is my favourite, although I wish I hadn't stamped the sentiment across his foot.

Happy crafting everyone... and why does the weekend seem soooo far away???!!!

Three of a kind...

This was going to be my WOYWW post, but somehow I ran out of time and it now seems to be WOYWThursday instead!

Lovely Hero Arts butterflies, a Hero Arts sentiment and Gertie 'Girly' Stamps from My Mind's Eye combine for this trio. I coloured the butterflies with my Promarkers (I certainly need the practise) and created the backgrounds with Distress Inks, over stamping with those pretty circle patterns from My Mind's Eye and a Hero Arts text stamp. I added a little banner and called it job done.

And finally, here's the messy desk shot...

Happy crafting everyone!

Meet my bestest crafting buddy!

And my bestest crafting buddy is my Mom!

What better way to spend the morning than card making with your Mom. At this point we were having a little play with some Distress Inks... plus nattering and having a cuppa of course.
How nice of Mom to dress so she perfectly matched my blue dining room.

Carrying on the blue theme here's another CAS Gorjuss girl.
The delicate flowers are from a Hero Arts set called Four Dolls, which I masked to achieve the size that I wanted.

Finally, I'm going to share my good news....

...just look at my snazzy, new Blog Badge. I can't believe that I won the first Craft Stamper Challenge with my faux airbrushing card! Talk about amazed, what a lovely surprise.

Better hurry along now as I have a dining room to tidy up before hubby gets home!

Happy crafting everyone!

Black, Lime and Spring Sunshine!

What a bright, sunny day! We still have snow in our garden but at least the snowdrops and miniature daffs are visible again, and there is much more green than white to be seen.

Good morning bloggers, and a happy Saturday morning to you all.
Chrissie and Jen have come up with a yummy colour combo for us over at Less is More Week #114.
I love their choice of lime and black so couldn't wait to play along.

I've been waiting to ink up two new Gorjuss Girl stamps, but wanted to try something a bit different with them. I'm not 100% sure this works but wanted a CAS look. The flower is from Hero Arts and is stamped in black Versafine on watercolour paper. The Gorjuss girl is raised on pop dots and coloured with my trusty Promarkers.

Hope you all have a great weekend and that some Spring sunshine finds you too!

WOYWW - Happy 200th

Can you believe that it's the 200th Wednesday that we have all popped over to Julia's for a look around eachother's work spaces??? Proves what a nosey lot we all are!

I'm currently working on cards for my next sale, so have a little production line going. I quite enjoy the repetition of making the same card over and over as I find it relaxing.

So happy Wednesday everyone, and why not drop by at Julia's Blog for the big 200!
