Colour Inspiration Challenge #51

Today I was at Reading Buddies listening to my two favourite little guys reading their books.
The one was reading his first non-fiction book and was so excited to tell me all about hurricanes, tornadoes and floods - and how 'everything just goes whooooosh!!!'.
The other asked me at the end of the session 'did I read good today?'
I told him that he did, he had tried really hard, even though he was obviously tired and lacking staying power!

This set me thinking that sometimes it is 'the little stuff' that makes your heart sing, so I came home and made this little card to celebrate the small things that make us smile.

(I seem to have had my own 'one layer' challenge going on!)

Card Recipe:
Plain white card from my stash
Ali Edwards - Everyday words stamp
Scraptrends - flower and dot stamp that I have had forever
Judikins Clear embossing powder
Versacolour inks in brown, yellow and pink
