The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #78 - X is for Extreme

Once again, I have to say that I'm more than a little concerned by Edna's exploits... This woman has no fear!

Don't worry, The Sisterhood don't expect you to go to such extremes for this challenge; we just want to see stamping-off-the-edge on your project!

This beautiful Mandala stamp is from Create a Smile: isn't it a beauty?

I needed to run the card through my printer to add the sentiment so was unable to use watercolour paper. I think watercolour paper would be much more suitable but it seems to have worked ok-ish!

Creative with Stamps Challenge #11 - Mid-month Inspiration

We're a day early with our mid-month reminder over at Creative with Stamps! With today being Valentine's day and that being out theme for February it just seemed to make sense!

My card is a little bit of crazy that will probably end up as the cat's Valentine to my hubby! I don't usually do this but 'Custard the Cat' was recently diagnosed with diabetes and hubby devotedly gives him his insulin shot at 6am each morning. I think he needs to say thank you!

Actually, Custard adores my hubby with all his heart, which often means disturbed lie-ins of a weekend. Custard likes to stand on my husband's chest purring loudly, just centimetres from his face. It's actually very cute to watch!

My image comes from Katzelkraft and my sentiment is care of the late, great Whitney Houston... And now you'll be singing that song for the rest of the day. I know, you're welcome!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #77 - O is for Outrageous

Edna is sporting a brave new look today! Here she is at her outrageous best, complete with a 'head bagel'! Seriously, they exist... Type 'head bagel' into Google and see what you get!

My card is really, really tame in comparison with Edna's antics... Not a Bagel head in sight! Perhaps the regrettable tattoos and drunken debauchery will follow later!

Once again, I broke out an Art Impressions stamp and added a sentiment with my PC.
I forgot to photograph the inside but it reads:

January 2107 Card Chain Challenge Reveal

It's great to be posting the first Card Chain Challenge reveal of 2017!

Before we get on with the business in hand, I'd like to say a big 'Welcome back!' to Deborah, and a big 'Thank you!' to Gail for keeping things going over the past few months while Deborah took a little time out.

The Card Chain Challenge now has it's very own home which will be tended by Deborah, Gail and yours truly!

The options for the January Challenge included colours, a sketch and possible themes of birds, snowflakes and friendship plus an additional product option of buttons and/or twine. 

I loved the colour combo but couldn't quite get to grips with them sketch, although I do have my own little 'homage' to it going on in the top right hand corner! The cute shoes and sentiment are by Waffle Flower, and I think this company might just be on the way to being my new 'stamp obsession' (We all have those, right?) as I'm loving the newest additions to their range!

And here's my loved-up little offering!

I couldn't resist pairing this Katzelkraft cutie with a comical sentiment to make this Valentine's card!

I wasn't sure what kind of bird he was until I realized that he could be a Cardinal. We don't have Cardinals in the UK so I needed a little help from Google to tell me that I was correct! I have to say that he looks very handsome in his bright red suit and black bib!
