Here's a little reminder of Gundi's first card for this challenge...

Inspired by her naughty mice, I made this card, and added a little story...

"Sybil the Shrew was sad; the mice had been so naughty towards her friend the snowman. She found a special present for him, wrapped it carefully in pretty paper, and went to wish him a Merry Christmas."

I combined two Colorado Craft Company stamps to make this card: Best Gift Shrew and Sweet Snowman. I love how you can mix and match so many of Anita Jeram's CCC stamps. 

My final card for this challenge is a sweet penguin waddling a little happy dance as the snow begins to fall. Again, this is a stamp from Colorado Craft Company, but a different designer: Kris Lauren.

Challenge #89 - Animal Antics

We'd like to see animals playing in the snow - yes, it's as simple as that! We've both had heaps of fun creating cards for this challenge, and hope you'll enjoy this theme too! You can see Gundi's gorgeous card on the main blogerooo. 

Here's my first card for the challenge. 

I always love an excuse to ink-up this bunny stamp, and decided to dial up the fun and colour him to look like the fabulous Mr. Ben, who is one of the rabbits currently living in the Rescue where I volunteer. 

 

Isn't he just adorable! This lad is so sweet and friendly, and loves having his big, soft ears tickled.

My second card is a super-CAS creation. I do love the BB MFT bears and I think this skating bear is my favourite from the set, although they are all lovely and so easy to colour. 

Rudolph has found a very suitable Random Raffle Prize for this challenge.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #253 - S is for Summer

 

It's Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, and as you can see Edna is spending an evening amongst the sunflowers. The sistahs have created some fabby cards to celebrate the season, so please drop by and join the fun!

My sheepy friend has opted for a trip to the beach...

I'm sending this card to someone who's just had surgery and I hope it gently tickles her funny bone. I can't find this set anywhere, so can only assume it's no longer available. I added the sentiment on my PC and found some sweet, summery paper to finish the card. 

The sistahs have had great fun with this theme, and we'd love you to come and play along too! 

Card Chain Challenge Reveal - July 2024

It's time for another Reveal over at The Card Chain Challenge, and there are some gorgeous cards in the Gallery.

I was delighted to 'snag' Wonder Bunny Gail in Norway as my recipient this month. I created this card using stamps from a magazine pack that she sent me for my birthday. I love the elegance of the feather stamp. Thanks so much, Gail.

My sender for July was the lovely Viv in UK, and just look what I received. Thanks, Viv, it's a stunner!

 Here's a little reminder of the beautiful card Leslie has created for our challenge...

There's so much inspiration on offer here! Leslie has used a PB stamp, so I decided to ink-up these adorable PB mice. I also decided to steal Leslie's wide frame and faux stitching, and where she added a 'pop' of design paper with that pretty ric-rac die, I put a design paper panel behind the mice. This was so much fun to do, thanks for letting me CaSE your card, Leslie!

I thought I'd link my card to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge 'Anything Goes' option as I've not had the opportunity to play long there for a little while. 

Finally, don't forget that Rudolph has a sweet little prize on offer this month for his Random Raffle Draw.

Let's Get Floral...

 The very talented folk over at AAA Birthday have a lovely challenge on offer:

My mom's cousin will be celebrating her birthday next week. I thought I'd break out my set of Sizzix Thinlets 664164, a Hero Arts Woodblock plus some Distress Oxides, and create her card to join the fun at AAA Birthday. 

I do love a quick and easy card, don't you?
