The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #266 - Finally Fall

We're playing F is for Finally Fall over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and Edna is here to get us in the mood.

For some reason I don't fully understand, I've created a snark-free card for this challenge.

I had fun with some Sizzix Thinlets Artsy Leaves and Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangles. I have to say that photographing this card was virtually impossible and it looks so much nicer IRL.

I'm linking this card over at CAS on Friday Challenge #317 where they're playing Fall. There are some stunning cards from the DT to look at and enjoy, and some lovely entries in the linky gallery thus far.

Back at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers my sistahs and our reigning monarch have created some fab cards, so please come and play along

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #265 - A is for Alien

Greetings, Earthlings! For August the Sisterhood are playing A is for Alien... And having a truly out of this world experience with our fun theme.

I inked-up this fun little alien from VLVS and added a couple of space ships for extra fun. There are so many fabulous alien images at VLVS and I'd love a few more for my stash, but I'm not sure if I can import them to the UK anymore. Sadly, world trade complications appear to have thwarted my stamp buying.

You'll love the cards created by our reigning queen and the sistahs, so please beam yourself over and take a look!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #264 - H is for Hot, Hot, Hot!

Here in the UK it's been kinda cosy of late, and so it feels just right for the Sisterhood to play Hot, Hot, Hot!

I wanted to make a card with HAPPINESS as the theme and went searching Google for a suitable quote. OK, so this is what I came up with. I know llamas have nothing to do with the heat, but this made me laugh and I just couldn't get past the idea so the card got made!

The colour palette for my painty, inky gel print background is a mix of HOT colours, and the llama is a digi from the fabulous Vera Lane shop.

I hope you'll come and join The Sisterhood and our reigning Good Queen Wendy for this fun challenge!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #263 - P is for Pride

For our June Challenge we are celebrating Pride Month over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, and we'd like to see RAINBOW colours on your projects!

Here's what I created:

I love this kitty from Catitude by Yuzu for MFT. I've lost the packaging for the rainbow die - it wasn't easy to use, so I may look for another one as the cut-out was so fiddly.

I'm delighted to be linking to lovely Fiki's Show Us Your Pussycats Challenge #112. Such a fun challenge! The kitty in my card today is based on my friend's cat Rupert - he's a proper character and would definitely strut his stuff just like this!

Finally, here's another picture of Bruce from the Rescue. Isn't he gorgeous? I'm sure his forever home can't be far away with a face like that.

You're going to love the creations on offer from the SoSS team and our Queen of Snark, so please head on over and take a look!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #262 - R is for Rude

The Sisterhood have only one requirement of your card for this month and that is that it is RUDE!

Sister Lee has once again created the perfect graphic for our challenge, and the team and Good Queen Fran may just have surpassed themselves this month.

Here's what I made using a fun, haughty lady and sentiment from Viva Las Vegas Stamps

Ha ha ha - how rude!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #261 - M is for Manly

All together now...

"Edna's a lumberjack and she's OK
She sleeps all night and she works all day..."

Bravo to Sister Lee for yet another awesome Edna to get us in the mood for Challenge #261 - M is for Manly.

For some reason I decided to grab a Grim Reaper die from Sizzix for this one.

A balloon die cut and a Dani Doodles stamp also jumped on board to join the fun.

There are some truly brilliant macho creations on offer for this challenge, so please come and join us over at The Sisterhood... lumberjack shirts are optional.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #260 - G is for Green

The word on the street is 'It's not easy being Green...' but, The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and our fabulous guest, Rachel, seem to have found it very easy to create cards using Mother Nature's favourite colour.

Here's what I made for Challenge #260:

A little The Ink Road snarkiness and a sweet AALL and Create image jumped onto one of my gelli prints to create this card. The sisters would love it if you came and joined the fun!

It's International Women Day on March 8th and Lost Coast Designs are celebrating with a fabulous month long theme of Woman. I had to play along.

I'm also dropping this sweet gal into the gallery over at Sweet Stampin as their new theme is Special Women, again to celebrate on March 8th.

Happy crafting everyone - I hope Saturday is good and kind to you all.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #259 - L is for Love

The Sisters have been hard at work creating some wonderfully 'romantic' cards to celebrate Valentine's Day on 14th February. As you can see from our graphic, Edna is in two minds about celebrating this annual show of affection! Great work, Sister Lee.

My card is all cute and girly - gold on pink and created using Dani Doodles gorgeous Winter Vine and one of her fun More Narky Sentiments

Reads: Nope, Not Today.

Who said ROMANCE is dead?

Please come play along with the Sisterhood and share your romantic/mildly indifferent/anti-romantic creations with us!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #258 - N is for NBUS

The Sistahs are breaking-out some of their sparkly, new crafty goodies or unused stash, and would like you to come and join the fun!

My NBUS card features new-2-me Newton's Nook Newton Unwinds and a sweet plaid embossing folder that seems to have escaped it's packaging.

Sadly, I'm snark-free for this card, but thankfully the Sisterhood and our fabulous Guest Queen Fran have got that sorted for us over on the main blog

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #257 - H is for Ho Ho Ho

We have a fun, festive challenge for December over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers as we play H is for Ho Ho Ho!

I do love this cheeky Albert E. image from VLVS, and couldn't resist pairing him with a naughty sentiment for a little festive fun. He pops up on birthday cards too, but wearing a different hat! The background to this card is just sooooooooo sparkly and features a favourite snowflake stamp from Honey Bee.

The Sisterhood, and GD, Queen Michelle, have created some brilliant cards for this challenge, so please come along, be inspired and play along!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #256 - C is for Critters

Our Graphics Guru, Lee, has created a fabulous graphic for this challenge and showcases a little known mythical beast: behold, the Uni-Edna!

Yes, we're all about CRITTERS for the month of November over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. Antelopes, ardvarks, aardwolves... You get the picture, and all are welcome!

I decided to ink-up this little guy from Stampers Anonymous Snarky Cat set.

The Sisterhood have had way too much fun with this theme, and would love it if YOU came to join the party. Hope to see you there!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #255 - H is for Halloween

Hi Snarkettes, it's time for a brand new challenge over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and it's one we all enjoy! We want to see your Halloween creations, and if you so desire, make 'em Pink Halloween creations to honour Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I grabbed this fabby Inkadinkadoo cat (I've had this gorgeous stamp for years), a couple of bats who flew past, plus an old Hero Arts background stamp, some Distress Oxides and this is the result! I was going to add a sentiment, but I kinda like it without one.

Don't forget to make a card for our challenge, and don't forget to check them boobies too!

It's important, girls!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #254 - A is for Autumn

The Sisterhood played S is for Summer last month, so naturally it's now time to play A is for Autumn. Autumn, Fall or 'Spider Season' can be such a beautiful time of the year and I decided to ink up this gorgeous Spellbinder embossing folder to try and capture some of the colour palette of the season.

The cute little eight-legged guys are from a Penny Black stamp I found on an Etsy site a while back.

My fabulous sistahs, and our wonderful guests, have created some awesome autumnal magic to inspire you all, so please come and play along

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #253 - S is for Summer

It's Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, and as you can see Edna is spending an evening amongst the sunflowers. The sistahs have created some fabby cards to celebrate the season, so please drop by and join the fun!

My sheepy friend has opted for a trip to the beach...

I'm sending this card to someone who's just had surgery and I hope it gently tickles her funny bone. I can't find this set anywhere, so can only assume it's no longer available. I added the sentiment on my PC and found some sweet, summery paper to finish the card.

The sistahs have had great fun with this theme, and we'd love you to come and play along too!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - L is for Lindsey

This month the Sisterhood are celebrating the life of our much missed Sister, Lindsey.

Lindsey passed away on July 21st, 2022, and the sistahs are taking this opportunity to send love to her husband, Burke, and to all of her family and friends. We're also sending head scritches and chin tickles to Lindsey's beloved cat, Duncan. It's hard to put into words just how much we all miss our our wise and witty friend.

To honour her and celebrate her life, this month we invite you to create a project that was inspired by Lindsey. You'll find heaps of inspiration on Lindsey's blog or Instagram account to help you out.

Here's what I created for this memory challenge. I used Hero Arts Heart Flourish stamp and Impression Obsession Sketch Cat (currently at Summer sale price) and was inspired by this card made by Lindsey. I heat embossed the cat image as that was something that Lindsey did, and I have to say it's certainly added some oomph to the card.

I miss you so much, Lindsey, and can only thank you for your friendship, and also for introducing me to the wonderful women who are The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #251 - D is for Die Cuts

Doesn't Edna look happy in her Summer garden!

I am amazed that it's suddenly June, as I currently have very little sense of time or place after spending a few days in bed with a stomach virus. I'm up and dressed today, so things are finally improving!

The Sisters have a very special guest for this fun challenge as the lovely Gail aka CraftyNomad is our reigning royal of the month. You will LOVE her card, and also the cards created by my noble sisters!

For some reason I decided to make a tag for this challenge, and here it is in all it's girly pinkness.

I inked-up some linen card to add some texture and interest, and then got die cutting using this incredibly versatile little set by Lisa Jones for Thinlits/Sizzix. The sentiment is from a set by Simon Says Stamp, but no longer has it's packaging and I can't see it on the website.

I hope you'll come and join the fun at The Sisterhood this month... We'd love to see a little snark on your card, but it's not an essential requirement!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #250 - O is for Outside

Hi guys, the weather here in the UK has been so dreary of late, so the theme 'O is for Outdoors' has me dreaming of palm trees and sunshine.

It's such a pity this cute Jane Davenport image is tiny, but I think it just about works in a slimline format.

Over at The Sisterhood we have a fabulous guest, and the sisters have created some amazing cards for this challenge, so please head on over and take a look.

I'm also linking this card at CAS on Friday, where the current challenge is Sunshine

I'm not sure how it's taken me so long to find this challenge, but I'm loving the DT cards and only wish I'd found it sooner!

Have a happy day!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #249 - F is for Fold It!

Hi guys, it's F is for Fold It over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, and once again our Graphics Goddess has rocked the challenge with her latest Edna! I have no idea HOW Sister Lee comes up with such fabulous graphics, but I'm glad she does.

Here's a cute kitty card made for my friend Susan...

And the final fold...

I had so much fun making this card for Sue and hope she likes it. I always enjoy working with MFT cats; this one just called out for the addition of googly eyes.

You can find the tutorial I used by clicking here

And it turns out that the lovely folk over at Inkspirational are also into fancy folding for the next two weeks. There's some lovely inspiration from the DT!

Please, come on over and join the fun at SoSS. You'll love what our fabulous royalty and the Sisters have created for this challenge.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #248 - S is for Snarky

Our Edna seems to be rocking some kind of late eighties vibe in her white slogan tee, or is this just me showing my age?!

Welcome, folks! It's Snark time as The Sisterhood play S is for Snark for the whole of March.

I had quite a bit of fun with this VLVS image and my PC. We all feel her pain, right? Thought so.

The sisters have a fabulous queen on board this month, and we'd all love you to come and join the fun!
